From Museums to Artists

On Friday, 13th September 2019, we will start with the first panel discussion about How Do Museums Cope With New Challenges?. After a short coffee brake we will continue with the second panel discussion about Artists’ Estates: Who Cares?, followed by a networking lunch directly next to the Brandenburg Gate.

In the afternoon, we will continue with our exclusive tours allowing us to visit extraordinary art collections of time-based art with a focus on video in Berlin. We will start together at Max Liebermann Haus with the current exhibition im Atelier Liebermann: Bjørn Melhus. HOT SET, followed by either the Academy of Arts, the Julia Stoschek Collection or the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein collection, coming back to Max Liebermann Haus (for timing please see agenda below).

The half-day art business seminar and lunch welcomes the expertise and experience of various professionals of the art market to discuss the trends currently promoting change in the middle of Berlin Art Week.

The main language will be English – only some parts will be translated into German or vice versa.
